PROJECT 01
"Report Analysis"

 Conduct research on two chosen ancient architectural buildings. Provide analysis and comparison between the two buildings and show evidence on an A1-sized poster.

Task 01

Write an analysis of the research into the two selected buildings. The Colosseum and the Theatre of Marcellus were the two buildings from these two ancient timelines that our group chose as its focus.

Task 02

Create an A1-sized poster that will serve as the base for the Blippar application integration based on the analysis report in the A4 booklet.

Task 03

Integrate the data from the A1 poster into the Blippar app to make the information more interactive to the viewer. The process of getting use to an new application was really hard, we spent a lot of time to learn the function of the application.

PROJECT 02
"Sketching Analysis"

Produce an A1-sized analysis infographic poster manually by sketching the five chosen heritage buildings in Malaysia. The sketching analysis should conclude the information of architectural elements, architectural layout, construction & materials, history timeline, and etc.

Task 01

Conduct research through internet and produce five infographic posters of the

chosen heritage building.

Several tasks were provided based on the lecture, including sketching the information from several ancient timelines, including columns to features from various ancient eras.

Reflection

I gained a lot from this session on Architecture History and Theories, especially about ancient architecture. It was a fascinating module to study because it involved all of the buildings in my immediate vicinity, and if I pass by or go to the location where I studied the buildings, it offers me a whole different experience.

My tutor was Ms. Dee, who was a great tutor and she had a lot of energy. The class is made interesting by her extensive knowledge of ancient buildings.
